GUESTS: MAYOR JOHN KRUM, first guest ever on GDH. Shot the week before on the Mayor's back porch. We discuss his experience since becoming mayor, his career that included two major roles in the corporate world and his family. This appearance by the mayor starts an annual visit every July by the current mayor of Hudson. That has now gone on for 20 consecutive years. CANDY SVEDA was the second guest. She of a long term business in Hudson as an Interior Designer. We discussed several things, including her volunteering to design the first HCTV studio and donate all of the furniture used for many years. BARBARA VAN BLARCUM, JOAN MAHER AND TOM VINCE, who along with Frank Youngwerth were the team that created and produced the "Hudson Profile of James W. Ellsworth", the documentary of the city of Hudson's most important citizen. We discussed the work that went on for several months developing the script, finding the many pictures used to tell the story and the actual production. The program introduced our first musical group, The Del Rezek Band who played one of their most popular hits and then Frank introduced a segment called "Memory Lane", with a video of band leader Artie Shaw's Orchestra.
