She was president of the Hudson Friends of the Library, a former councilperson for the village, and one of those who started the EMS. Her late husband, John, had a speaking role in the motion picture "The Gathering" which was shot in Hudson in the 70's. DENNY SMITH, the first golf pro at Ellsworth Meadows Golf Course, compared the golfers of 50 years ago with those of that timeframe, as it related to equipment and prize money.
