Good Day in Hudson - June 2003
GUEST: NEIL THACKABERRY, owner of the Actors Summit Theater in Hudson, discussing his background as well as his popular theater. GUESTS: VIRGINIA FRAZER and MARIE SABOL, members of the HHS staff discussing their project to secure a $250,000 grant to create an advanced system that brought all the schools in the district together in a network of video communication between the schools, and within each school. TOM VINCE's Moment in Hudson History tells the story of WRA chemistry professor (1869-82) & Nobel Prize nominee Edwin Morley. The Morley Mickelson Experiment lead to Einstein's Theory of Relativity. The 2003 Morley Medal Awards were recently made to WRA alumni. NOTE: The singing group, JUST FRIENDS makes their first appearance on GDH. Also, the painting on the set is by William Breedon of maple sugaring at Hale Farm. The image includes a little boy, his son Erik Breedon on the HCTV production crew. Erik takes a bow at the end of the show.
