GUEST: RICHARD BREEDON, HHS ’73, high energy physicist, discusses CERN, the particle accelerator project he is a part of in Switzerland, representing University of California Davis. GUEST: MICHELLE KISTHART, interviews some young children about how to cook a turkey for Thanksgiving. It produces some interesting comments from the youngsters. GUEST: MARTY HILLS, reports back to Frank on her involvement in getting ready for the Ada Cooper Miller 100th birthday program in December on GDH. GUEST: TOM VINCE goes on location to the Erie Canal in upstate NY to tell of the 1836 journey west of 3 young African Americans from here to Ohio to attend WR College in Hudson (Samuel Harrison) - - plus, John Brown traveled the canal and went to Peterborough to meet abolitionist Garrett Smith. Tom visits Good Day set to talk about his interest in reporting on historic places, a hobby he's had since he was a very young person. NOTE: The annual November salute to veterans includes both Frank and Bob Entenman discussing their time in the service during the 1950's, as well as a musical salute to the vets by the Just Friends singing group.
