Description
Lincoln Ellsworth, polar explorer, had connections with Hudson, Ohio. Born in 1880 in Chicago, he came to Hudson when he was 13 to live with his grandmother (mother of James W. Ellsworth) in Evamere Hall, where studied the stars that led to his interest in polar exploration. He explored with Roald Amundsen to cross the North Pole Arctic Basin, funded by J.W. Ellsworth, successfully in 1926. Produced in May 2006.
